Been chipping away at this one for weeks. Now that I’ve got all the pieces, I’ll be re-recording most everything and developing a final mix.

Oh hell yeah – I love this f’ing song. Abandoned the original verse after a few suggestions from my good friend, JW, wrote most of the lyrics while driving a U-Haul from Oregon to L.A., and was inspired to write it while watching skateboarders in Budapest and London. Rich history for a song I believe sums up the direction for Ashen Mix.
Yes, I actually have blistered my fingers trying to perfect the guitars for the new recording.

Still rough around the middle and has a ways to go before final tracks and a decent mix, but much a more evolved demo than Joyrider. Illustrates a lot of my ideas and I’m pretty happy with how they’re coming together.
