Weszt (pronounced “west”) is an American rock singer/songwriter currently writing and living in Los Angeles, CA. He’s best known as the frontman for Weszt, the Orlando, Florida-based alternative rock band and his tortured, heart-on-the-sleeve songwriting style.

Other than the front-man, the members of Weszt (the band) are Bobby Lane (bass, backing vocals), Michael Pugh (drums), and Michael Rizzo (lead guitar, backing vocals). Bobby and Rizzo currently play for the Orlando/UK based band Fell On Deaf Ears.

As a group, Weszt toured the East Coast of the United States seven times – part of which was under the indie start-up label, Cell Records – and opened for a number of well known acts including Days of the New, Hootie and the Blowfish, Better Than Ezra, The Fixx, and The X’s (featuring Brett Scallions of Fuel). Industry legend, James Paul Wisner (New Found Glory, Under Oath, Dashboard Confessional, Further Seems Forever) has been the producer for their last two releases.

Weszt is currently writing new music and doing solo performances in Los Angeles.
